December 1, What Does It Mean to You?

December 1 can represent a lot of things, a very important one is WORLD AIDS DAY
AIDS stands for Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome and it's causes by the HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus). The virus essentially causes the cells of the immune system to die and thus the body cannot fight off infections as a healthy person would be able to.
Death usually occurs due to secondary infections that a normal person would be able to resist but because their immune system is compromised the infection is fatal.

World AIDS day is a day designed to raise awareness about AIDS. We all see the commercials "Get tested", "Many people don't know they have it",etc. We may or may not know someone with AIDS but we can help the fight against it. Simple things like knowing the facts about it, how it is spread and how it's not. Check out http://www.unaids.org/en/MediaCentre/References/default.asp for facts about AIDS

We can even help by simply shopping for friends and family this Christmas.
If you buy products with (RED) beside it you are contributing money to help people suffering from AIDS, check out http://joinred.com/products/ or joinred.blogspot.com for more details.
(RED) was co-founded by U2, lead singer Bono

If you buy or have bought (RED) products here's how you helped

If you are a big fan of Christmas, or the holidays in general, December 1 signifies the countdown to Christmas. Christmas means a lot of things to different people but we must always remember the main point; the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ who died on the cross for us. The humble, caring spirit and willingness to service is what we should remember this holiday and should try to emulate all year round.

That's it for now, bye and God Bless :D

It's December 1

Last night's SGA episode was so good, McKay has really developed as a character, well he has been developing for awhile. To be honest I think he's one of the most developed, in terms of story line.
Anyways back to the point, he has really grown in terms of selflessness He even willingly to let the life force be sucked out of him for his sister, now that's self sacrificing, especially for McKay. I just love them act on screen the chemistry is just awesome.
The big surprise for me was that John was trying to convince the guy to give up his life for McKay. I didn't realize at first, but when John was showing him pictures of Jeannie I'm thinking "Is he trying to get the guy to volunteer to be fed on?" Wow I never thought I'd see that happen. I hope bringing the Wraith to Earth doesn't end up backfiring on them.

Next episode is the last one for the year, is this due to the writer's strike??? Someone please enlighten my darkness.

Just saw this on Youtube it's hilarious.

anyways bye for now :D God bless you all.
